Why I Started Blogging Again
“Two years later, I returned to blogging to preserve what I learn, reconsider what I think I understand, and leave a record of how I grow.”

Two years later, I have built my blog again.
Back in my freshman year, I once set up a simple blog with Hexo. At first, everything felt new and interesting, and I wrote a few posts there. But as life got busier and the blog needed occasional maintenance, I gradually stopped updating it and left it behind.
I never expected that, two years later, I would pick it up again.
Over the past two years, AI has changed rapidly, and I have found myself using it more and more. When I run into a question I cannot solve, I can simply ask a large language model. When I come across an unfamiliar field, I can quickly get a rough idea of what it is about. It is certainly convenient. But the more I use AI, the more I feel that something is missing.
Sometimes, when I read a paper or learn a new concept, I keep asking AI questions along the way. At the time, it feels as if I understand almost everything. But a few days later, once I close the chat history and try to explain it again from the beginning, I often find that there are still many parts I cannot explain clearly.
That knowledge seems to come quickly, and disappear just as quickly.
I am currently a junior majoring in Cybersecurity at Xi’an Polytechnic University. Over the past two years, I have been preparing for graduate school admission through academic recommendation, and along the way I have explored quite a few things, including penetration testing, deep learning, and algorithm competitions. But everything has often felt rushed, as if I were constantly pushing myself forward.
I have always been used to moving on.
After learning one thing, I start thinking about the next. After finishing one experiment, I begin looking for another problem. Many days feel busy and productive, yet when I look back, I sometimes realize that things I once spent a great deal of time studying have already faded into little more than a vague impression.
That was when I began to feel that I needed a place to leave these things behind.
Not just a place to jot down a few notes, and not a place to reorganize answers generated by a large language model, but a place that forces me to think through things again for myself.
So, I started blogging again.
This blog will probably contain projects I have worked on, papers I have read, mistakes and problems I have encountered, and questions I still have not fully figured out. Many of these posts may not be polished or complete, but at least when I write them down, I will have thought seriously about them once. Only when I truly try to explain something clearly do I discover how much I actually understand. Along the way, I also hope to gradually improve my writing and my ability to express ideas.
And if some of these notes happen to help someone else who is trying to solve the same problem, that would be even better.
I do not know what this blog will eventually become, nor do I know where I will be a few years from now.
But I hope that many years later, when I open this site again, I will see more than just a scattered collection of posts.
I hope I will still be able to see, through these words, what I once learned, what I once thought about, and how I gradually grew from an inexperienced and naive version of myself into the person I have become.
